Time for Asia Poker

Time to gather around partners or investors for the Asia version of the online poker business. The initial optimism has now evolved into a totally different scenario. Asia is way too big and different to allow us the luxury of adopting a single strategy. Unlike USA. The kind of leverage Party Poker achieves is simple not possible here in Asia. However, it is still a very significant especially the China market.

Success in London, more to go

The overhelming success in Party Gaming is indeed a trend to watch out. Who would have predicted such a progress in such an industry perceived to be so dangerous 5 years back. Going forward, this is still pretty much a risky business, even though the floated companies will never ever admit it. But the upside is very much there for the whole industry as a whole.

More will be invested and interest will roll for a little while especially in the caucasian developed countries. More will float and London is just going to be filled up the neck with capital, interest and companies taking a quick bite at the sudden growth. Competition will heat up in those areas and will & is indeed spilling over into Asia.

888 is pretty active in China and of course with the other small to mid size online gaming companies targeting mainly the football and traditional dealer-player casino games. The online poker market is pretty virgin? Not really if you track the complex China market closely.
